Zebra ZD220

Any printer which supports the ZPL language should be supported by Badgy. However we recommend Zebra printers for a plug and play experience. If you have printers from other vendors please contact us so we can verify and add them to our vendor list.

Labels

Label Example

Badge labels come in a wide array of shapes, sizes and print formats. It's important to consider a number of points when choosing labels.

  1. Firstly the type of printer you are using will dictate the type of label required, for example we generally use Direct Thermal ZEBRA printers which require Direct Thermal labels. Ensure that the labels you use are correct for your device

  2. Sizing your labels is also dictated by your device however you will also want to take into account the details your would like on the label and the size of the badge the labels will be appended to.

Recommended Label Sizing

Our recommended label size is 100x50mm (4x2 Inch). This generally allows for 3 or 4 lines of text and a QR code.
